Sell to us, and hear how the number was built

Bring the item, get a number, decide afterwards. The evaluation costs nothing and you are not obliged to take what we offer.

How the number gets built

Gold goes on a certified scale and through a karat test, and you see the arithmetic. Diamonds get judged on the four Cs, with the certificate if you have one. Watches get identified by reference before condition and originality come into it. Electronics and tools get tested.

All four come back to the same question: what would this resell for? Not the retail tag, and not a number invented at the counter. If you want to know which factor moved your offer, ask. It is a fair question.

What to bring

Photo ID, the item, and whatever documents it: box, papers, certificate, service receipt, charger, case, batteries. Paperwork rarely changes the category of an offer, but it frequently changes the amount.

For collections and estates, photographs first are useful. They tell us whether one visit covers it or whether a house call makes more sense.

Sell, or borrow against it

A sale is final and usually pays more than a loan on the same item. A loan keeps ownership and costs interest, but the piece comes home at the end. The quickest way to choose is to hear both numbers in one visit.

If the piece has family meaning, that probably settles it before the arithmetic does. A loan is the option that keeps it in the family.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the evaluation really free?

Yes. There is no charge to have something looked at and quoted, and no obligation to accept the offer.

Do you buy broken or incomplete items?

Often. Scrap gold, single earrings, tools with no batteries, electronics with a fault. All of it has a value, just a lower one. We will say which category your item falls into.

How do you pay?

Cash at the counter, with the transaction documented. Bring photo ID, since Florida requires it for pawn and secondhand transactions.
